Delete your Diro Films account

Delete in the app or request deletion by email. You do not need to install the app, sign in to this website, or make a purchase to use the email path.

Open Diro Films → Settings → Delete Account → read the confirmation and confirm deletion. Successful deletion removes the account and linked Supabase account data and signs you out. If you cannot access the app or account, use the email path below.

Email dirofilms@gmail.com with the subject Diro Films account deletion request. The address is selectable and the link opens your email app. Opening it does not send or submit a request; send the message yourself.

Contact support from your registered email where possible and say you want your Diro Films account deleted. If you cannot use that address, explain this to support. Ownership verification may be needed to avoid deleting someone else’s account. Do not send passwords, password-reset tokens, authentication tokens, payment-card details, or unnecessary identity documents.

In-app deletion removes the Supabase account and linked Supabase account data. This includes the linked profile, favourite and interested directors, watchlists and personal lists, ratings and optional written reviews, viewing and rewatch history, account preferences, and synchronization records.

This does not demonstrate downstream erasure from PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat, Expo registrations, store records, backups, hosting logs, or shared search caches. A six-hour search-cache freshness interval is not a physical deletion deadline. Device-only Privacy Choices are distinct from account-linked content. Turning off reporting, signing out, or uninstalling does not request erasure of reports already sent.

To request deletion of previously sent reports or other provider records, describe that request in your email to dirofilms@gmail.com. A provider may need to be involved, and sending a request does not confirm completion. Contact support about a particular record or the progress of your request.

A separately submitted website waitlist entry is separate from the app account. Mention it if you also want it removed. See the Privacy Policy.

Signing out or uninstalling does not delete your hosted account. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active app-store subscription. Manage subscriptions separately to avoid future renewals. Cancelling is not a prerequisite for requesting deletion.

In Diro Films, use Settings → Manage Subscriptions. You can also manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple subscriptions (iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play subscriptions (Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions), using the store account used to purchase.
